My social media faves!
Hello my friends,
Today I actually have a planned-out post for you! As promised new content for you that is much more thought through.
I want to tell you about how I feel about social media and my favourite social media platforms right now. I will go from least to most liked platforms of my list. Some of my social media can be found at the bottom of my home page but I will put them in here as well as I speak about them.
I will start my list with the biggest of them all; Facebook. The reason that I dislike Facebook is purely because of the way it has developed. A few years ago Facebook used to be a really good platform to connect with people in your life, but as the years have gone on it has turned into a place where you have more ‘friends’ than you know actual people and all that is posted is memes, videos and fake news stories. It is basically a secondary YouTube with fake news that everybody takes at face-value and stupidly relatable images. As much I dislike the way that Facebook has developed I cannot deny that I still scroll Facebook every single day. I also give it the respect that it deserves as a huge and influential platform, and I continue to use it know that I can reach a lot more people with the help of Facebook. Below is my NoneOfThatJazz Facebook page.
Next on my list is the infamous celebrity platform; Twitter! This one I dislike because for this platform you tweet short spontaneous bouts of your life to people who follow you. Everyone also follows hoards of celebs in the hope of getting glimpses of their untouchable lives. However the one main reasons I am not the biggest fan of twitter is because I am not very good at tweeting but I am trying to get better because I am sure that if I do it will be more fun.
Now I want to mention Pinterest. I like Pinterest for the same reason everyone likes Pinterest. Pinterest is a great platform for research and inspiration but frankly I wouldn’t say it goes much further than that.
Next is We<3it. I LOVE this because I get to see absolutely beautiful pictures all the time and most of the images are my aesthetic I just love going on there. I would actually describe it best as a combination of Instagram and Pinterest and also including the recipe for the power puff girls!
The next thing that I think I really love is snapchat! I love this mostly because I actually feel that this is a social media that does its job and actually helps people connect. I also think it is funny. People are more free with snapchat and the filters are always extremely entertaining. Like I said it actually does a really good job of connecting people.
And I now come to the final entry of my list is Instagram! I have a pure and simple reason for loving Instagram and that is because I actually am fairly good at posting regularly and actually get some level of engagement back. I really enjoy seeing what people like others to see of their lives and what things they are actually willing to share with the rest of the world and what doctored insights they wish their friends to see. I think that this is definitely my favourite.
And thus, concludes my list. Thank you very much for reading and I know that this is a lot longer than any of the posts that I have written for you before but this was a lot more structured than any before.
And with that, I am signing off.
