I am back! I have successfully moved into halls. However, I can't say it didn't go without its hitches...
I arrived and the moving date that I had chosen online was apparently not a moving date that I should have been allowed to access as it was only for the athletes that are arriving early to train. I explained that I had come a long way and that is not something that was within my control as I assumed that if I was asked to choose a moving day online that only the ones that are for me/ones that I am allowed to choose would be accessible but that was not the case. anyhow, they have sorted me out with temporary accommodation in the hall complex that I am supposed to be in anyway. I am staying in this hall for 15 days and then I am moving into my actual hall (which is only a couple of blocks down) after that.
I am really glad that it has all been sorted out and I think that it is a problem that was completely not my fault. The only thing that I find really annoying about it is the fact that all I want to do right now after all of the stress of moving and organising and sorting out, is make myself at home and personalise and unpack. But obviously if I do that I only have to pack it all up again in a couple of weeks. When I finally move into the halls that I am supposed to be in, I will be really happy that it is all sorted and I don't have to worry anymore.
Right, after the very long day that I have had I think I will leave it there and go to bed an snuggle up with a film. Night all! see you tomorrow :)
